Our Beginning

In recognition of a growing need for counseling services in our community and surrounding area, parishioners from a local church gathered to address how to implement this outreach. After five years, ecumenical input and counsel from the Diocese, a board of directors was created and in 1982, the mission began. By 1990, it was apparent that this fast growing mission was expanding. The Center raised the capital funds to build a space that could serve more people in need.
